How long have you been a school board member? 13 years 

What do you hope to accomplish as a member of the school board? To help set the foundation for every student to be a success in life if they are willing to work at it.

Discuss a little about your family. Cheryl and I have been married for 34 years. Two sons, Ryne and Chase who graduated from DHS. 

What schools did you attend? Eudora, AR and Stamps, AR public schools, and Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, AR.

What activities were you involved in in high school? Football, track, Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Yearbook staff.

What activities were you involved in in college? Played football, FCA, and several business clubs and organizations.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? Church activities, volunteer work, helping kids, traveling and watching sports. 

Do you have children who attend schools in DISD? If so which schools do they go to? Both went K-12 here.

Anything else? I’m very proud to be associated with Decatur ISD, our students, teachers, and staff.
