A: I graduated from Texas Woman’s University

A: I went four years for my undergrad.
Q: What is your degree in?
A: Theatre
Q: How many years have you worked as a theatre director?
A: 8 years
Q: Where did you previously work?
A: I worked at Lewisville High School for four years. In between Lewisville and now, I worked for a politician in Austin. I wrote speeches and campaigned.
Q: Why did you choose to work at Decatur High School?
A: They have a great reputation and I wanted to get away from a larger 5A school and come to a 3A school
Q: Have you always wanted to work for a high school?
A: Yes, I love to teach and I love the enthusiasm, theatre has a place for everybody.
Q: How do you feel about your new job? And why?
A: I am very excited because I’m coming into a very strong department and we are getting ready to start our contest season.
Q: What made you interested in becoming a theatre director?
A: I love theatre and I’ve always wanted to be a part of it.
Q: What kind of activities were you involved in during high school?
A:I was in theatre, band, basketball, volleyball, track, and yearbook.
Q: Have you ever performed in any plays?
A: Yes
Q: What plays have you produced/ directed?
A: I’ve done musicals and one act play, like Romeo and Juliet and Guys and Dolls.
Q: Do you plan on putting on any plays this year?
A: Yes
Q: What is your favorite play and movie? And why?
A: “The Birds” by Aristophanes is my favorite play.
Q: What kind of movies do you like?
A: Comedies
Q: If you could direct a major motion picture which one would it be? And why?
A: One that was on an exotic location because I like to travel and see new places.

A: Kevin Bacon
Q: Who is your favorite actor/ actress? And why?
A: Johnny Depp. I think he takes daring challenges with his roles and doesn’t do the norm.

A: Peanut M&M’s
