The swim team competed at Keller Thursday. Although they did not place, they won against themselves by completing the challenge that swimming brings.
“The team did really good, especially against the 5A schools,” senior Arin Blaylock said.
Winning is not always about the scores, it’s about the objective.
“Swimming has given students an opportunity to compete and challenge themselves against the clock, “ Swim Coach, Doris Dennard said. “There is a goal for everyone. You can come in with any level of experience looking to improve yourself. That’s the great thing about swimming.
As the swim team continues advancing to higher goals, their limits become downfall in size. Their next meet is Saturday, Dec. 3rd at North Lake College against Irving Winter Inv.
