Friday, Feb. 10, the Decatur Swim Team went to regionals. All relays made it to finals on Saturday, Feb. 11. The girl’s 200 yard medley relay placed 8th. In the 200 freestyle, Haley Dennard placed 7th, with a time of 2:10.54. In the 50 yard freestyle, Katey Rowden placed 1st, swimming a 25.48. Rowden is going to state. Also in the 50 yard freestyle, Haley Dennardplaced 3rd, swimming a 26.23. In the 100 yard freestyle Katey Rowden also placed 1st with a time of 55.63. Rowden is going to state in this event also. Audry McCreary placed 4th in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 58.82. Guys 200 relay placed 7th and girls placed 3rd. The 400 relay team swam a 3:55 and placed 3rd. This was their fastest time ever.
