Hi, my name is Haleigh Hurst and I am a sophomore. This is my first year on the newspaper and yearbook staff. Inside of school I’m a straight A student and involved in countless activities including serving as the Sophomore Class Treasurer and cheer which I am the current Junior Varsity cheer captain. Outside of school, people can find me dancing, volunteering with special needs or competing in scholarship pageants. I have held four Miss Texas Titles in the past three years and placed top five nationally and internationally. I’m so excited to be writing about my passions, political and current events.
