Hey, I’m Sarah. If you’re reading my blog, it’s probably because you’ve read any part of the print or online editions of the Journal. For that, I thank you; every view that we get to our online page makes Madeline (our online editor) super happy.
Anyway. Welcome to my blog. I know, it’s kind of empty, but it will fill up quick enough.
When January rolled around, I sort of realized that I had about five months before I am going to graduate. Talk about a wake up call, I’ll be the first to tell you. So I’ve decided to get some interesting stuff done before I walk across the stage.
But one of the things I want to do is find little things to be happy about, and I’ve decided to share them with you. I’m going to mark off what little time I have left in the Decatur school system in the little things. Yes, that’s right, I’m going to “measure in love”.
For those of you who don’t know, I’m basing this off of a song from the rock opera by Jonathon Larson entitled “RENT”. The song first appears at the top of act two, and talks about the little things that you can measure life in- sunrises, sunsets, report cards, all that good stuff. It’s the little things like the ones in the song I intend to love, and tell you how much I love them.
So, until next time, be happy.
